It's not as bad as Swede's tragedy, but pretty bad. My cousins' house caught on fire last night. They live in a county and their house is pretty far from the road. Everything burned down. They didn't save everything. My youngest cousin woke everyone up and they're at a neighbor's. Even their dog was lost, because she slept in the garage and that's where the fire started. So yeah, I'm pretty sad but they're ok.

I have more details: My dad took off work to go and help sort things out. This is what I know so far. 1. They live in a county and so it took the fire department a while to get there. They're pretty far from the road but they had a pond made way back. A truck was leaning against the gravel next to the pond. They used up almost all the water, so the catfish and grass-eating carp are murdering each other in a big puddle. 2. They have three cats but they are all outdoor. Their names are Sox, Honey, and Mouse. The dog was a yellow Canadian lab (which means she was HUGE) and her name was Sophie. Sophie was very, very old and so it was not like she was a four-month old puppy. She slept in the garage, where the fire started, and breathed smoke in her sleep. Otherwise she would've barked and woken them up. 3. My youngest cousin (age 11) heard the alarm and woke everyone up. 4. They went to their neighbor's and were there all day but they are going to my grandma's today and staying there awhile. 5. Everything - cars, stuff, house - was burned down and so they have nothing but themselves and their three cats. 6. The house was a ranch with high ceilings that made it hard to put the fire out. 7. Where they live still smells like smoke. 8. They are completely okay but I'm guessing they're pretty shaken. I think they will get an apartment soon. This was a total shock and was on the news today. What matters is they escaped and still have each other. Luckily, their house, cars, ATVs - pretty much everything was insured well so they aren't broke or anything. They definately were not broke before and they still aren't. But they collected a lot of things and had fancy things. None of them - my aunt, uncle, and two cousins - had time to get anything out. Keep them in your prayers.
