history: Yrsa's parents, Elding and Strega, were imported from Sweden, but she was born in America. She does, however, use the heavy dialect common to Scandinavian horses, as her parents do. She was just a week old when she was stolen from her home, along with her parents and three older mares. (ooc: full history in Elding, too lazy to retype) She was terrified of the other stallions who had come to steal her aunts, but now she is more open. She cannot stay with her parents forever, though she loves them, and there's a whole world out there...

Yrsa left her herd when she was four years old in order to find a life for herself. For a few years she wandered around in solitude, meeting few horses and mostly alone. But then she met Rogue. He was a fine young stallion, and she soon fell in love with him. She joined him in his territory at Apple Alley, and hoped they would have a long future together.
For a while, things were alright. Together they had their first daughter, Tindra, and she was just wonderful. However, one day Rogue disappeared without warning. Yrsa was left alone, without any knowledge of what had happened to him. He returned several seasons later, and she accepted his excuses and apologies.
But again, he vanished, not even lingering for the birth of their second daughter, Astrid. Yrsa waited in vain for his return, and finally gave up and returned to her father's herd with her daughters. Elding took them in happily, and in time Yrsa met a new stallion, Anteros. Rogue returned a disheveled mess, broken and insane, but Yrsa would no longer have anything to do with the stallion, and they parted on bitter terms. Not longer afterwards, she lost her beloved Tindra to a mysterious disease...
