Rhiannon waddled into her new home wide and plump. She was meer minutes away from foaling, she was sure of it. The foal was becoming uneasy and kicking harder now. The contractions were becoming closer and closer. She lowered herself to the ground and let out a call to Flint. She knew that Flint wasn't the foal's father, but he would be acting as the foal's father because of Tequila Action's mysterious dissapearence. Rhiannon let out another call to Flint and braced herself for foaling.

Flint streaked over to Rhiannon. " Yes, Ria dear?" But then he saw what was about to happen. " Oh Ria! Your foal! How wonderful! Is it going alright? Do you need anything?" Flint bent his neck down and nuzzled Rhiannon. Oh how happy he was! He knew very well that this was not his foal, but the foal would most likely think that Flint was it's father. Flint would ask Rhiannon later if they would tell the foal that Flint was not his real father, but he would wait to ask that until the foaling was over. Flint didn't want Rhiannon under any stress. He nuzzled her again.

Rhiannon smiled at Flint and nuzzled him gently. "Everything's going fine." Rhiannon gave a few hard pushes and soon a small grey filly slid out. She turned her head to lick the foal clean and then nudged the foal to suckle. The young filly began to suckle and Rhiannon smiled. Rhiannon looked the filly over. She had a dished face like her mother's and her mother's soft brown eyes. Rhiannon looked up at Flint before she spoke. "She will be named Saevio. It is a foreign language for action. Action is part of her father's name. Do you like the name?" Rhiannon nuzzled Saevio.

Flint let out the breath he had been holding and let in new, fresh breath. He had been worried something might go wrong, but it looked like all went well. Flint looked at the little filly, and then to Rhiannon, and answered her question. " Rhiannon, you have the prettiest filly in this valley. Saevio is the perfect name. Couldn't have picked a better one myself." Flint smiled at the foal, who was now busy suckling his mother. Having a new addition to the family was excellent, even though it was not his own foal. It would have been wonderful if it had been his foal, but he couldn't change the fact that Tequila Action was the real father. Neverless, Flint would still be a half father, and help raise this young, vulnerable, helpless little gray filly that was standing right in front of him.

OOC: Should I tell BM that we have a new addition to the family and she can add that to the herd stats?

Rhiannon smiled at Saevio and Flint. She nuzzled each of them and then urged Saevio to nurse. Saevio stood and began to nurse greedily. She finished nursing and then licked the milk from her muzzle. Rhiannon smiled and nuzzled Saevio again. She spoke to Saevio. "Your name is Saevio. Do you like that name?" She began to groom Saevio carefully. She wondered if she would tell Saevio that Flint was her father or if she would tell her about her real father. She decided that she would let Saevio think what she wanted and tell her the truth when she was older.

Saevio nursed from her mother and then licked the milk from her muzzle. She looked at her mother as her mother told her what her name was. She spoke her name quietly. "Saevio. I like that name." Saevio looked at her mother and smiled. She looked like her mother. She spoke quietly to her mother. "Mommy?" Saevio nuzzled Rhiannon and then turned toward Flint. She saw a stallion that looked nothing like her or her mother, but she thought it was her father. "Daddy?" She nuzzled Flint gently and smiled.

Flint smiled as mother and daughter embraced. Saevio looked like a minature twin next to her mother, they looked so much alike. Flint was a bit suprised when Saevio turned to him. Flint quickly glanced at Rhiannon, and knew from her look that they would tell Saevio later that Flint was not the father of this filly. He nuzzled her soft, grey neck and said, " Hello Saevio. Are you feeling fine?" Flint wanted to make sure this foal was OK and was not going to suddenly die and collapse at his feet. He knew of course there was such a small chance of that happening that it was smaller than a flea. After all, this may not be his foal, but he had to be responsible and help take care of it. He turned to Rhiannon and gave her a lick on the ear and whispered,"Well done Rhiannon. Well done."
