[ooc]Well, Nal needs land to continue his misadventures and explotation of the ladies, and there were no free spots, so I decided that I would have to challenge. Sorry, to everyone if this is innapropriate or anything, if it is let me know, and I will delete the thread. Whoever wishes to take me on may.[/ooc]
He had a damsel, and he had the guts, but Nal did not have a home, and he dearly needed one, even if it was only for a season or two. Nal didn't know how long he would stay, however this land seemed to be interesting, and he may even make it his permanent home. That was, of course, assuming that he did not get kicked out of the land, something that seemed to occur to him frequently.
He trotted into the beautiful valley, one complete with many trees. A perfect land for hiding from enemies, and giving surprise attacks to those who required them. Although Nal did not show it, he was astonished ot discover that many of the trees actually bore apples. He had only seen three apple trees in all of his travels, and here he found a single valley with many times more than that. Brilliant for food, then too. Perhaps his mare would like the sweet treats.
Nal stretched his trot into all its glory, high steps, slight sway and a massive stride before he halted in a clearing. He could smell horses, and many of them. This land would suit Nal well, it would seem, but he would have to fight a stallion and win if he were to stay. No one liked to bee too close to their neighbours.
So, Nal thought. I need to claim this land, because I like it. I will have to fight a stallion too, otherwise I will not be able to stay. It seemed the logical thing to do.
Without even bothering to see where his latest lady was, Nal pawed at he ground, and reared high into a striking pose, brandishing his forelegs, and screaming his stallion's cry as he did . It helped to give him the energy needed to battle, not only to let others know that they were in the presence of Eternal Glory.
[Eternal Glory]
