[OOC: May be open later xD]
It was a beautiful morning in late spring. A tall, proud stallion came into The Watering Hole at a swift gallop... but, on second thought, no, that couldn't possibly be a stallion...
The few horses that drifted round even though it was so early in the day stopped in their tracks and stared. The stag had his head held high, surveying the horses around him with bright, warm eyes. His antlers had shed at the end of winter, and already they had started growing in again. By fall they would be quite impressive... although, strangely enough, unlike other stags, Awahi didn't care how his antlers would turn out this year.
He was too busy examining his surroundings. He had almost never been this close to this amount of horses... he knew that there were often many more around this area, socializing and such... That was why had had come so early in the morning. Spring mornings were simply glorious, and besides, he didn't want to be crowded by too many curious horses, for undoubtedly many of them had seen as little of his kind as he had seen of theirs. His habits may have been very unusual for a typical stag, but like all deer, there was a turning point at which enough was enough, and he began to shy.
Awahi watched the horses curiously, seeing that their habits really were not so much different from deers'. Stags wandered around with usually at least one hind... there were some groups of hinds near the bank, which he found unusual, but he supposed that hinds gathering without the presence of a stag was normal in horse society.
