Combined History: Born to mares embroiled in the war between Ranger and Hunter, they were surrounded by talk of violence, blood and death at very young ages, however they were lucky. As fillies they weren't as highly valued as their male counter-parts, no matter how big they grew or how much smarter they were. They were cast aside, and as outcasts, they both made their own ways, eventually meeting and becoming fast friends, perhaps because of their upbringing or just their personalities. Fable and Bellatrix met as yearlings in one of the common grounds, they argue on that matter as they can never agree on whether it was Mirror Lake or The Watering Hole. They bonded over a lot of things and eventually, as their mothers were more interested in their current foals, the next batch of pawns in the war, they left together. The two drifted from territory to territory, never staying longer than a week at a time in any place, they were big enough in stature to throw off most predators and intelligent enough to not go looking for danger. When the war began to come to a head and the tension in the lands got to be unbearable for them, they, like many other herds, found other places to stay outside of the once peaceful lands of Sunshine River. A lot of the older horses they met on their journeys weren't as phased by the threat of a war, merely stating that it'd happened before, and would happen again, and that it was just one of those things. Finally after a few months, the tension in the lands died down, the battles over and the war won. They, along with a few others, began to trickle back into the now still, silent lands of Sunshine River.
