Huckleberry was born on an island, an island that was inhabited by many other horses. He was free and wild, with no owners and no worries, until his mother was ripped from him at the tender age of six months. His mother, Brazen, had been around up by things on horses and was taken away from their herd, along with several other mares. But he was left behind with his sire and the lead made. They took care of him and raised him as their own. When the time came, he moved out onto his own. He gathered a few mares and had a few foals in his time. But then the things came back. They rounded up his herd this time and forced them to swim across the water to an island inhabited by many two legged creatures.
He escaped. How? Well, he was not entirely sure actually. The gate had just been left open and he just walked away. Since it was at night, he got away easily and stayed in the shadows. Within time, he reached wide open plains and that was where he stayed. His story was not one of trauma nor was it one of pain, it was just an story of relocation.
