Unlike her brother Prince; Nina is focused and let's nobody get close to her.
She was never a favourite in the old herd before the earthquake that had split the ground and caused her herd to split or fall to their doom. Nina let her instincts take hold and she ran far and fast.
She only stopped by nightfall a thick layer of sweat covered her body and she breathed heavily from her nostrils. She turned at the snap of a twig and prepared for a fight only for it to turn out to be her brother Prince. She turned around without a word and continued along a river that soon led her to sunshine river.

Prince though the oldest of the siblings acts far from it. He is playful and a flirt back home all the mares loved him and it was thought that he would walk in his fathers hoof prints and lead the herd. Prince was the golden child.
The day of the earthquake he had stopped thinking and took off without thinking of the herd. He was not the heroic one they all thought he was.
Prince was able to track his sisters scent and fallow her hoof prints and has been ever since.
