Weak winter light reflected off of the mare's body as she walked through the snow. Delicate black tipped ears flicked as she listened to the sounds around her in this place. The hooves that cut through the snow were delicate and the lines of this metallic mare were as graceful as a greyhound. Though it be winter, her mane and tail remained sparse, a line to her heritage as a pure blood. She was as a true desert horse and a fine specimen of that as well. Pausing in her steps, the solid buckskin mare elegantly came to a stop. Her nostrils flared as she drew in the scents of this land. The place was much different that her place of birth. Her black tail rose and fell as she began to walk again. Her joints moved easily as she made her way deeper into this new land. She walked a bit more before a yawn took over her muzzle. Her eyes drooped sleepily as she slowed to a stop once more. Pawing the snow, she lowered herself into a bed of snow and grass. Tucking her soft muzzle against her side, she drifted off to sleep in this land.

Storm and Cloud pranced among the snow and as Storm watched, he noticed that Cloud had went down within the snow. Tossing his head up, he laughed hard as he could barely see his brother in the deep part of the snow. The two brothers were happily playing around, but when Storm caught scent of another horse, he stopped and searched around. Seeing the other horse, Storm nickered to her, which made Cloud stand up and lift his head.
Cloud was more the hard cored stallion while Storm was the softer, more gentle stallion out of the two; yet they loved each other far more than what would have been seen by those who didn't know them. Cloud now stood by his half brother and sighed softly. He wasn't always willing to have someone else around them, even more when him and Storm were playing around. He nipped at his brother who had gone over to the mare; making Cloud roll his eyes slightly and trudge after his brother.

Hearing sounds rose Tsetse from her slumber. She rose to her hooves and looked around, yawning. Her eyes settled upon two stallions that had made there way here. The trouble with stallions was that no one could know what their intentions were. She shook herself off and backed up a step or two. Her eyes settled upon the stallions, a soft snort falling from her muzzle as she let her tail swing behind her.
Her hooves crunched on the ground as she strode forward and lowered her delicate muzzle to the water and drank deeply from it. Raising her muzzle, water dripped slowly back down into the water as she watched the stallions once more.

Storm smiled and bowed his head to the mare. "You have nothing to fear from me." he said but gave a glance over to Cloud who was showing off already with his neck arched and his nose touching his chest. "Cloud is just a joker. He isn't as bad as he looks." Storm said as he lowered his head with his ears forward.
Cloud sighed as he watched his brother and soon relaxed his stance. He started over with his ears flickering in each and every way, making sure nothing was coming up behind them or anywhere near them. As he reach his brother's side, he lowered his head and pushed at the snow. He was a playful one and would rather have some fun instead of being a know it all and stand around doing nothing.

The scent of spring was starting to fill the air as Tsetse looked up and met the eyes of the stallions. Maybe being around stallions was not so bad. But was she ready to do this or did she need more time alone? She took a deep breath and let courage flow through her as she used to when she was younger just before the races.
"It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Tsetse." Her voice was soft, lilting. Her accent was something different than those that were around here. But she was easily understood. Her tail swung behind her as she moved softly, her buckskin coat throwing off a metallic sparkle that was unique to her breed.
The sun was beginning to grow strong in the sky, the winter crush over the land was beginning to let up.
