Hunter/Ranger War - Plans and Backstory

Righto; Considering Lily, who is an integral part of this plot, has decided to leave us all, I'm now kicking her out of this plot and making room for other people to join for more key parts. Currently the herd statistics are incredibly uneven, as Hunter's herd was mostly occupied by Lily's characters, leading to a lot of spaces being currently open.

Hunter's Herd:-
Lead Stallion - Hunter
Lead Mare - OPEN
Mares - Aria, Cassandra, Bala
Foals/Youngsters - Rusty, Leto/Lynx
Stallions - Titan, BlackThorn, Legend

Hunter currently needs more young stallions and probably more mares, as well as a decent lead mare. (Though I'm sure Aria could step in.)

Hunter needs a really wicked, evil lead mare, as most other mares he would drive insane and see as inferior, essentially he needs a mare who is equal to him in insanity and evilness.

Ranger's Herd:-
Lead Stallion - Ranger
Lead Mare - Melody
Mares - Ela, Indra*, Ren, Kiss^, Eden'
Foals/Youngsters - Indira, Jynx
Stallions - Azazel, Dragon, Tank, Segredo, Altair*, Salem^, Cormorant'

Story wise, to get over the loss that Lily has left, I'm killing off her characters.

Melody and Tank will be leaving after the war, so Ranger will need a lead mare to step in after she leaves.

Ranger also needs a stallion to take in Ela, Indra, Indira and Jynx just before and during the war. The stallion will have to be kind and already own a herd as they will only be temporary visitors, he will also have to not mind Jynx hanging around or any other stallions such as Dragon, Altair or Azazel who would check in from time to time to make sure everything is going alright.

An unknown pathogen (found here) killed off a large part of Hunter's herd, some suffered from the fourth & third stages, but others were merely at stage two or one, all that were ill were slaughtered by the behemoth. It was to keep his herd strong, so he told himself and the others. Thus it has alienated Titan into planning to defect before the battle comes to a head.

Melody lost both her best friend and her mate in one go, both were taken by Hunter. Pepper was murdered swiftly by the black beast, but when her body slumped onto the sandy floor, Bellagio launched himself at the other stallion, rage clouding his mind and thought process, making it easier than it would have been for Hunter to kill him. Melody fled back to the herd, she gave the others the option to follow her or to find their own way. Only Jynx followed her to the only place they could get away from Hunter; Ranger's land. She took up the mantle of Lead Mare in Lilian's absence, and for now, her and Tank's differences are put aside until the battle is done and the war is won.

Ranger's herd lost Lilian after she witnessed Bellagio's death by the hooves of Hunter. The mare went insane and when Tank managed to get her off the island without being killed by Hunter she disappeared with no trace. Melody appeared soon after with her son in tow and has taken up Lilian's mantle so they can successfully beat Hunter and his forces into the dust.

I would like to submit my new characters to join your plot: Joy, El Conquistador, Harlequin, and Sport. Joy is a qualified lead mare, but she's a tad broken right now, so she might not be ideal. 'Tis up to you.

Take a Look at Darkness and his family for Hunters herd and for Rangers, Phoenix is looking for a home with Rodeo and Jazane. Once I finally settle down and get off this horse high of mine, I'll really be back to posting and all.

BTW Guys, I just edited the main post showing what I'm looking for with both herds.

Bullseye - Joy and others would be an ideal fit for Ranger's herd. He would invest in helping her heal and such and she could get used to being part of a herd again before becoming lead mare. If you're interested? Ranger also would allow El Conquistador to stay if he wanted to stay with his sisters and mother.

Raine - I'm not sure Light would be good for a lead mare as Hunter really needs someone who believes in his cause and will essentially be equal to him. He would welcome them, however, and allow Darkness to keep Light and Dreamer with him, as they would be helpful in the battle. Also, any lead mare of Hunter's would need to be solely his, he doesn't share well.

As for Phoenix, Rodeo & Jazane, Ranger would welcome them ^-^ He's altogether not fussy about who is happy to support his cause, so long as no one harms any of his mares/foals and doesn't pick fights among each other.

El Conquistador would make an excellent temporary addition to Ranger's herd. For the time being, he's seeking to establish his mother and sisters. He's a mama's boy, always has been, always will be, so he's going to remain loyal to her before striking out on his own. (Ya know, if he ever finds a mare intriguing enough to split him from mom.)

I imagine you're not wanting to make little introduction posts for each horse, so are we thinking a big, joint post whenever you've got the full herd developed? Something where we all can kinda establish our characters without going through individual niceties?

Okay, I can totally make a lead mare for Hunter's herd. I'll read up on him and see what I can come up with who knows maybe one of my many other mare would work better.
