We came from harsh lands, lands that were meant to be destroyed by people for development. But of course, they just wanted to take us and destroy us. We were interferring with the cattle and their grazing. I just wish that someone could have stopped them sooner before I lost my whole herd. Time is my daughter you see, one that I could not let leave the herd. She has been with me since before my herd was ran off and captured. But she also has a few secrets of her own that I cannot for the life of me get out of her. Like why she never wants a stallion or why she never wants to leave my herd. I mean, I love having her in my herd and I love having her around me, but sometimes a mare needs to grow and find her own way.
Moon talks like he is my guardian rather than my father. Sure, I have some secrets, but what mare doesnt? I had my time away from the herd and I did not think that it was pleasant. No, I want to be where it is safe at all times. My father knows where to go when I need to be protected, that is for sure. And now that he has lost his herd, well, I cant leave him now. That would be horrible! So I stay with him and travel with him, but I always keep my ears towards my rear, he might be following me.
