I am lost. A poor soul here in the wild that wanders aimlessly. My father has died and my mother is nowhere to be seen. But here I am. I have no herd that I can call my own and I merely wander from place to place.
I was born in the wild plains five summers ago. My hooves touched the soil and I believed that I was to be the best mare in the herd. I was wrong though. My mother was not actually a part of the herd that she had claimed was hers and I was not a member of the herd by birth. I was an outcast. So I was named for what my mother had, Forbidden Love. She was in love with a stallion that was not a mustang and therefore her mother cast her out of the family herd. But the stallion that my mother loved, well, he did not love her at all. What was a mare to do?
I have travelled long and far to get where I am today, but where is that truly?
