Name: Laughlin (Nicknamed "Flex")
Age: 5
Breed: Mustang x Appaloosa
Height: 15 hh
Colour: Black Leopard
Eye Colour: Brown
Gender: Stallion
Markings: N/A
History: Laughlin's dad claimed the purest mustang pedigree a stallion could ask for; his mother was bred on an Appaloosa ranch in the great state of Nevada. As with so many mares, his dam found herself pregnant with the stallion's colt shortly after he stole her away from her home.
As hormones and instinct started to kick in, Laughlin started plotting, desiring some of his sire's many mares. The day he attempted to steal two away was his last day at home. Though his cockiness and immaturity hardly faded in his time amongst a bachelor herd, his fighting prowess grew. Laughlin's fellow studs eventually nicknamed him "Flex," claiming that he spent more time flexing his muscles than his brain cells. Patience, they said, and strategy were traits he sorely lacked. How did he expect to get a mare if he charged in first and analyzed the situation later?
When the bachelor herd stumbled across a herd of cattle, guarded by their cowboys and a string of riding horses, Laughlin decided it was his time to shine. The young stud scented out the mares of the tiny horse herd and began his infiltration after dark. It might have worked, too, if the youngest of the cowboys hadn't spooked the herd of cattle with his startled shout at the mustang.
Laughlin managed to outrun the stampede, but he found himself separated from the bachelor herd he'd relied on for companionship and protection. Not one to be brought down by mere misfortune, the cocky young stud ambled on, eventually stumbling upon a great river.
