History:
Venom is a stubborn stallion, he's vicious, and hates being told what to do by the mares he considers below him. He's extremely arrogant and thinks of himself as a king, a ruler. He'll not tolerate resistance of any kind, and since he's an Irish Draught, he has the power to back it up. However, this does lead to some flaws - he is not a perfect being. Venom's arrogance will often lead him to offend stallions and mares of a lighter disposition. He's basically a tyrant, and it seems like nothing will cool his tendencies. Venom has a short fuse and is quick to anger.

Venom grew up in a herd, in the cold north. The colts would always fight together, and their father barely took much notice of the losers of these fights. In fact, his father was very much like Venom himself - his mares carried bites and gashes, but were too afraid to escape. The fillies too were wary, but the colts seemed to embrace this bloodthirsty attitude. Perhaps it was a genetic factor, this absolute need to dominate. In any case, the weaker ones ended up dead. Venom's early life was a hard one, always striving to be victorious and being proud of any misfortune caused by him or his brothers. At the age of 2, the herd leader forcibly kicked the colts from the herd, seeing their growing up as a possible threat to his dominion. A few of them roamed for a while together, continuing their fighting and generally making life miserable for any poor soul they encountered along the way. Mares were forcebred, any who stood up to them were killed. The band of bloodthirsty young stallions utterly dominated. Eventually as one young stallion got too big an ego, he left the herd to go and take over another land. Occasionally Venom watched a few of them being kicked out from the group for being considered too weak or a burden, possessing new injuries that would scar. Years passed and Venom got into fights, some of which he discovered that he couldn't win. This was a massive blow to his ego, and of course he got angry. Venom has always been quick to temper, he has no reservations about ending a life or causing injury with intent to permanently maim. He came to Sunlight River with the intention of settling down and dominating his own kingdom.
