History:
Stumpy's father was a large Black forest horse, he was owned by rich breeder enjoying the money the rare stallion gave him. Her mother on the other hand was just a typical semi-taimed gypsy horse, teathered in a feild with meny others. When the gypsys heard about the Black Forest stallion close by they assembled broke the locks and stole the large stallion, Stumpys mother along with 5 other mares that night was mounted by the cold stallion.
The gypsys then sprayed the stallions long white mane black and sprayed 2 white socks on his legs before tethering him in the middle of the feild confident there plan would work.
Sadly nothing good can come of stealing, the stallion paniced on his chain tether and broke his hock. The Gypsys shot him and burryed him without a second thought.
out of the 5 mares he covered only 4 where pregnant and only one (Stumpy) was the same color as the stallion, the other 3 foals were piebald like there mothers. Stumpys mother was a old mare, 17years by the time Stumpy was born. She told Stumpy at a young age how evil humans where.
Months past and like the other foals Stumpy remmained untethered. when it came to Stumpys 5th month on earth her mother told her to 'leave', 'just keep running away'. Distrort Stumpy refused and cryed. Her mother laid her ears flat and with tears in her eyes kicked out at her foal angrily. Stumpy continued to cry and refused to leave standing just out of her mothers range.
The Mother could see the gypsy men running over, no dobt to punnish her and tether her foal. The Mare kicked out one last time the tether on her leg causing her to fall as she did, Stumpy looked down at her mother before seeing the gypsys racing over, fear filled her eyes as she bolted away never looking back.
A long time passed after that day, though Stumpy never forgot it. She remained short concidering her breeding. She continues to wander looking for somewhere that humans do not tread.
In Game History:
She met Nervana in the desert, alog with Syn. She saw nirvana get raped by the black stallion and narrowly avoided it herself.
She found a lovely gypsy vannor stallion, but found herself fritened by the stallions presence.
She re-found Nervana with her presumed rape-foal. Nervana continued to give her the cold shoulder so with her spirits low she left Nirvana.
(4 Years out of game history)
Storys of a Silver Maned Vannor at the foothills of the mountains didn't take long to circulate at the local ranch outpost. Stumpy hadn't found another herd to join, instead she gazed by the side of large red and white horned beasts that ate just as much grass as she did. Little did she know she'd end up back in human hands. These cows she'd come to graze with where from all different ranches, as one told another about the mare when checking on the cattle. out of the 4 ranches that co.owned the group of cattle 3 had begun to make plans for the mares capture. She was oviously not of wild heritage, she must have either run away or was dumped.
Together the 3 ranches built a corral and herded both long-horns and Stumpy into it. The mare though freedom was sweet soon got used to the dayly life of a tame-horse. Maybe because she was never a wild one to begin with. Then the argueing between the ranches started about who owned the mare, reasons were thrown about by each ranch as why she shuold be theirs but in the end it was agreed they would sell her. Roped and headcollared Stumpy was taken to another town by 3 of the ranches trusted cow-boys. At the deadbeat town she was sold in auction for a pretty penny.
Her new owners where of the Amish beleaf. and with kind handling and positive encouragment taught Stumpy a great number of things, mainly how to be riden and how to pull. For most of the year she was working as a draft horse, plowing feilds, turning and collecting hay. All usually done with a young child resting on her back. Then she'd get a nice holiday only being used every once and a while, or she just played with the masters children. Years seemed to have passed and Stumpy did enjoy her life. It felt like she had finily found a home, a place to belong.
But this is Stumpy and good things don't last long, after 3 years of work the master brought a colt, the colt was kept in a ajoining paddock. But Stumpys fear or stallions hadn't changed at all. The master not understanding her fright, still tried to work her but she misbehaved, alot. He put her in her paddock for rest but that only made things worse. Till she eventually broke the gate (after trying to jump it) and got free. She loved the children, but the thought of a young stallion so close sent shivers down her spine. She left again, on the hunt for Sun Shire Valley.
