Beslou loped along the creamy ground steadily, inhaling the heady scent of the land. It was stunning, a true paradise. A perfect place for him and Ramiera to settle, a perfect place to build a herd. With a snort, he slid to a stop, hooves raking long furrows in the loamy soil. With a feral scream, he rose up on his hind legs, scything through the air in a crescent of ivory and ebony united as one. The stallion tossed his mane defiantly as he came crashing back down to solid earth. This was his land now.

Ramiera galloped up and slid to a halt beside him, glancing around at the place with her stone-blue orbs. Her auds flicked to take in the sounds. This place was exciting and perfect. She watched Beslou rear and scream before moving off to explore a bit. The grazing was good here. She couldn't wait to start a herd here. The land was just perfect for it - and best of all, it was theirs. She trotted over to Beslou and tossed her creamy mane. Ramiera nickered softly to him, to draw his attention.
((OOC - should they go to the canyon?))

ooc: Sure, why not?
Beslou snorted loudly, tossing his head. Ha, just let anyone contest his claim to this place! It was for him and Ramiera, and any other who joined their little band. Ramiera... his eyes flicked back to her, wide and honest. His flashy head lowered to the ground, snipping off the pale grass contentedly. It was fresh, invigorating, and natural. The stallion looked up again, scanning the horizon. They were not the only ones here, but there was plenty of room. And Beslou was prepared to fight for their right to live in a piece of this territory. At the sound of his lead's nicker, he swiveled, answering softly. His muzzle stroked along her crest lovingly. "Yes, Ramiera?" Life was good.

Ramiera lifted her head, glancing around again. It felt strange to be lead mare, but there really was no one to lead. So no worries, then, she almost said aloud but thought. She felt flirtatious again, lifting her tail in an Arabian-like way as she cantered towards him, slowing to a stop. She reached her pink maw out to nuzzle him, nickering as she did so. She nipped his black and white mane playfully. OOC: Do you want to make the thread or should I? Idk

ooc: could you make it? I am superduper busy today, I can only re to posts and then I have to go.
Beslou half-reared, pawing the air playfully. His muzzle reached out to hers, inhaling that heavenly scent as he did so. He swished his tail against his sides, feeling energetic and exuberant. Spring was running through him, quickening his blood after the long and sluggish winter. And summer would be here soon, as well. But of all of them, spring was perhaps his favorite. Summer could easily get too hot, but spring was always just... perfect. Autumn was glorious as well, though it promised harsh times while spring foreold the easy life. He nickered again, prancing closer to her.

[OOC: Whoops! Sorry, didn't notice this thread until now xD Since they're gettin' pretty busy, how about both of you make "coming-back posts" and then Cermak comes into the thread and accepts them?]

OOC: Well I'm back now. Lol.
Ramiera entered their familiar slice of the meadow and sighed. She'd been hoping it would be better, but she was completely alone. She wondered where in the world Beslou was, and where had run off to when she had been waiting. She shook her cream-colored forelock from her eyes. It was probably important, she told herself. But still, she was rather lonely in the meadow by herself.
