History:
Helwise was a daughter of a older stallion, he wanted a son to leave his herd to. He had inherited the herd from his own father and wanted to continue the tradition.
The stallion was young he fell in love with a mare in another herd, the stallion’s greatest rival. He plotted and eventually stole the mare away, But there was one small problem… She did not love him and pined for her old mate. Helwise’s father stopped her and forced her to stay growing angrier and more savage each time, she wasted away growing thinner and eventually giving birth to the a still born son. With her last words she told the stallion he would never have another son. he paid it no heed, he had his whole life ahead after all.
As the years past the stallion gathered and lost many mares, all gave birth to either fillies or colts that did not survive their first year. Years past and the stallion once again fell in love, This mare was sweet and gentle and returned his feelings. It took 3 seasons but eventually the mare gave birth, to a filly the spitting image of the stallion’s first mare. He flew into a rage and chased the mare and newborn deep into the woods, where the mare died a year later leaving Helwise on her own.
Helwise is a levelheaded mare, she is unsure around other horses having been taught to keep hidden by her mother who feared the wrath of her father. She has lived much of her life alone, where this might have made some horses fearful her isolation has made her calm. She carries an air about her that makes her seem older and wiser than her actual 4 years.
