History: Woundwort is a bully. But he can be charming when it suits him, a strong fighter he commands obedience from those around him.
Woundwort’s life really started when he left his herd at a young age. He rounded up a group of fellow stragglers and they went around raising hell. They were all proud of the risks they were taking, feeding in farms and orchards, startling cattle, one time he was even jumped by a mountain cat. Woundwort kicked it off, then trampled the cat to death he still bares scars from that incident.
At age 5 he convinced a young mare from a farm to run away with him and abandoned his gang to his 2nd in command. He and the mare (Tidal) wandered from place to place and she bore him a foal (Campion).
Things didn’t last long after that however and Tidal was shot by hunters one day.
If Campion had not been of weaning age anyway woundwort would have left him but the last thing tidal did was ask him to protect Campion, Not heartless enough to refuse a final request Woundwort has indeed looked after Campion since then. Now he seeks a new mare and a chance to start over.
