The place was new and secluded, but it made Sundance nervous. Her golden ears flicked rapidly like a rabbit's in a coyote den. It was open, and she hated open places. There were a few horses, but they were distant and paid no mind to her. Sundance walked docilely towards the water. She was parched and shoved her muzzle in, wincing at the cold water that made her throat hurt. She lifted her head to look around at this new place.

Eclipse trotted through the thin layer of snow, not really thinking of anything, just on the move. He snorts as some snow falls on his ebony face, making it seem as though his face had a thin stripe. He trots on, he slows as he sees another horse and stops. He nickers to the horse, wondering if the palomino would be friendly or not.

Sundance's right ear had caught the thick sound of the stallion stepping before he nickered. She nearly jumped out of her skin when he did. Whipping her head around, she easily picked him out through the snow. Sundance shivered before she let out a tenative whinny in response.

Eclipse stood. He was a ways off from the mare and took a couple steps toard her before stopping and waited to see if the mare would take off or alow him closer. The snow fell on his back, but he didn't flick his tail or shake, he was not wanting to spook the mare in any way.The sun gleamed on his black pelt.

Sundance felt a breath of relief, knowing that the stallion was trustworthy. She shook the accumulating flakes off her golden back. Her winter coat made her look two times bigger than she really was, a golden bison to a timid mare. She moved a step towards him, flicking an ear in quiet welcome.

Eclipse saw the mare's ears perk forward and knew it was a friendly matter. He pranced up to the mare and nickered a greeting. "Hello little lady, I am Eclipse. How might you be doing?" His ebony pelt glisten with the sun shining on it and the white snow making him stand out like a rose in a weed patch. He shook his pelt free of the snow taht landed on his back and sprinkled him with white.

The reality was that she was feeling cold and lonely, but she felt impulsed to reply, Well enough, fair stag. Snow frosted her sunkissed coat with white. She shook herself again, ivory mane and tail flying briefly. Pleasure to meet you, Eclipse. She blinked the ivorn flakes from her lashes. Both of their pelts stood out in the blustery storm.

OOC: No need to get an attitude. Read the going away board. They will be gone for Spring Break and you need to make sure that all of your posts that are IC are at least five lines. Yours are a bit under that. If you keep it up I will notify the mods and BM.

OOC: Hey i am back! Eclipse smiled, , a smile? Eclipse? A rare sight it was but he did. "What a beautiful name, it suits you." He looked over her more, he just loved her golden pelt, he had never seen such a beauty before. Unlike his black pelt, everyone around here seemed to be black, but her beautiful pelt glistened with the sun, making her all the more beautiful.

((Yay! I was bored.))
Smiles were contagious. Sundance grinned slightly, but it was a start. The springtime sunlight beamed down on her golden pelt, making it glossier than her shaggy winter one - but the hair shedding out itched. "So, Eclipse. Would you happen to have any land?" She couldn't help but wonder.

Ecplise nodded his large head "Why yes I do! I have claimed in Wild Horse Valley." He was proud of his land, and would defend it and everything within it to the death. HE liked his land, plenty to eat and drink. He hoped that with the fact that he had land that the mare would be more interested to come with him, he quite admird her and her beauty, he would hate to loose her.

He seemed so proud of himself. What stallion wouldn't? Sundance sure would've liked to join him, but she was so shy. She shook off the last of her rapidly shedding winter coat, now gleaming like a gold coin under the bright spring sunlight. It was a change. At least now she felt cooler without the stuffy winter coat.

The stallion looked to the golden mare, what a beauty, he would have to have her, how could he let another have her beauty? He didn't want to rush the mare but he wanted to know "So my beauty, would you be interested in seeing my land and perhaps staying with me?" He hoped she would, not only was she beautiful, she was a sweet and kind young mare.

She was nearly taken aback. It was as if he could read her mind. Sundance hesitated for a second, but she trusted Eclipse, didn't she? The palomino nodded. "Yes, I would most certainly like to see your land." She walked off a little, flicking her ears as she waited for him to lead them off to the new place. ((So do you want to wrap this up now?))

Eclipse smiled again, wow! To think he knew how! He nickered happily and pranced in the direction of his home "Well then we should be off! Come my dear!" He turned andbroke into a brisk trot towards his home, looking to see that Sundance was keeping up. A mare! A mare for Eclipse! What a great feeling it was!
