Okay I'm just bursting to the brim with happiness and I can hardly contain all my happiness and it's mostly because of the INTERNET! But the rest is real and making me go squeeee!! First of all I've been selected to do a seminar on drawing horses at my school's art show tommorrow. This isn't a big deal to me because I was practically forced into it, but EVERYONE is congradulating me so yeah that makes Sunnygirl here happy! ;D Second, for those of you who play Howrse, I entered the blog contest. Apparently I was in the top 150. But it didn't stop there! Today I logged on remembering it was Howrse's birthday and there was a new announcement called Blog contest winners! So I clicked on it and imagine my surprise when I scrolled all the way to the bottom and saw this: WindSunSky. This is my username, and it was a hyperlink to my blog post. This means I got 3 passes, so now I have 6 total! (I spent some on a philospher's stone b4). Yay!!!!

Congratulations!
Yeah, pony is with swede on this one... I don't do propaganda, otherwise I might have entered.
I would be interested in seeing some of your horse drawings. Perhaps you could make a coat with your four passes, then you have the option of getting twenty passes instead.

Forgive me for being a silly ass, but what in the world is propaganda?
Also, I have no clue how to download something online. We don't have a scanner. Do they even make them anymore? Plus I'm not that good. I'd have to touch it up digitally to make it look like the Silver and Gold one, which I don't have the knowledge or program to make possible. And please, no-one in my school can draw anything better than a stick person. I'm telling you flat out, I'm not that good.

Scanners never go out -of-date, since there is no better way to load a painting or drawing online, so you're cool.

Propaganda is what politicians do. Advertise themselves. What we mean is, we don't want to go around saying "OMG howrse is the coolest thing on the planet!! YOu really really really should join, it's my favviest thing ever!" Pony actually wrote a very good blog that she never entered, because only people who lavished praise on howrse would win. She was fairly objective. No offense to you- I read yours, it was good. Just not what we do.

*bows* thankyou swede. Pony is anti propoganda, and extremely against sucking up to someone for "brownie points"
Dictionary definition of propaganda is actually presenting one viewpoint unfairly. Writing a pro-horse blog is this, although many would argue that howrse is an awesome site. And, yeah, it is what politicians do every day. Pony also dislikes politics, but undersanads that it is necessary.
Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to read your blog, sundance, before V2 came in. But I would be interested in reading it.
pony's main complaint about v2? It made my background look really weird!
All artists complain about how hideous their artwork looks, becasue, lets face it, it is almost impossible to create an almost real artwork when your tools are a few pencils, and you have only been at it for a couple of years. And the goal of most horse artists is to capture the life of a horse on paper.
(uh- if that made sense o.O)

True, I probably am my worst critic. Two of my classmates were around me saying stuff like "wow" and "I would pay for that!" when I was going like "It has gigantic ears". The news is still there, pony. But now you guys made me feel like a sleazy politican! *squee is dead*
