"I have no clue as to how I came to the wild, truth be told..."
There was a blue green sea of grass before her, white plank fencing surrounded this ocean of pasture. Acres and acres were hers, a few friends shared this wonderful field with her. But there was no fighting for grazing land, no there was plenty for all. And the water, oh it was deliciously sweet. One could drink for hours on this water. The land was government owned, a theme park for horses one could say. All this grazing and sweet water for only two performances a day.
She was dressed in the finest bells and gold, a representative of her breed at this theme park. When the dramatic musiic played, she galloped into the show arena, her black mane and tail rippling behind her very dramatically. The feathering on her legs blew wth her galloping stride, an elegant sight to be sure. While the breed's history was recited, she galloped and pranced with her rider, showing off her dramatic flair and elegance. Ceralaun Lorali was a star, imported from Ireland itself. After the show, she stood by the fence, allowing the children to pet her glorious mane softly.
But her life was ruined one spring. It was the worst weather in history, severe flooding surrounded the Tri State and the theme park where she lived was under several feet of water. She and her friends panicked, their lovely world overturned. The humans tried to help, but only a few could be saved. Ceralaun was too heavy for the ship.
After time, the water receded. But Ceralaun did not know where she was. The pasture was gone and the humans were no longer around. She was lost. But perhaps it was not so bad, so she thought. The wild stallions were cruel to her and the other mares shunned her. She was too heavy, too dramatic, too elegant. But she was determined to make it. Adopting a new name, she trudged on under the name Spades. Maybe this rather plain name instead of her elegant, but hard to pronounce Irish name would help her gain friends.
Finish at home wanted to get pic up.
