Name: Regality
Age: 7 summers old
Breed: Mustang
Height: 14.3 hh
Color: Strawberry roan
Eye Color: brown
Gender: mare
Family Line: Cryptic
Markings: four white stockings and a star in the shape of a heart
History: Regality lives up to her name. She is just that regal. Regality is from the lineage of great wild horses that have served the Native Americans for years, but that would all change when little Regality was born. Born to the lead stallion and omega mare on a little reervation, the sire and dam were estatic to see such a lovely color on such a lively little foal. Regality grew up in the manner of all wild horses, running and free. Her first year came and went and she became her sire's little princess.
When the time came for the roundup by the Indians, Regality was caught and admired for her stunning coat of red and white. She was unlike anything that they had ever seen before and the cheif's wife wanted her for herself. Thus Regality was roped and brought to their camp. Regality hated every moment of it. She could not stand the ropes or the not being able to run. She was determined that she would get away. Months passed and she was still not trained. They were starting to give up on her when a stallion from a nearby herd sneaked into camp one night and stole the little band of mares in which Regality was.
Herd life disagreed with Regality. She was not the lead mare by any means, but she was not the lowest either. She did not like the stallion nor the way that he subjected the mares to his coverings. She would not give that brute a foal any time soon. So she ran, far and fast. She ran for miles until she happened upon Sunshine River, a confirmed lone mare until she could find a stallion to match her for wits and speed, one that was kind and gentle to her. But she had a dark secret still...one that was lying in wait to be discovered. A dark and tragic past beyond the Indians and her family. Why did she run from her previous herd when demanded to breed?
