A History of The End- For Cryptic Plot

An explanation of the history of the war-
The Dark Herd is a herd that has always been led by Cryptic since before time really. Back before the horses had come to live in the plains, a stallion had gathered the largest herd there. He was called Dark and his lead mare, Light. Together they had a colt named Cryptic. The prophecy spoke of this colt and his act of ultimate evil. It was not seen until his five year old year when he slaughtered his sire in a battle over the herd. Standing over his bloody and dying sire, Cryptic was then cursed with immortality. His soul would live always in the offspring that he chose, but his mind would lose sanity with each life that he took. As the time passed and Cryptic ruled the herds, his ways became a bit more unethical. He took on bachelor stallions to do his fighting, he bred mares that were his daughters or even his own mother in his new body. His mind seemed to grow slack and lose his sanity more and more. He started to become lucid when his herd was ruled by him and the lead mare, Tehala. He knew that he had to do something to end this. But he did not know what. Finally, he stopped gathering bachelors and mares, breeding his own warriours, but soon this led to inbreeding. When his son Brught took over, there was nothing but inbreed warriours in his herd. Soon this began to take its toll. After Brught committed suicide, Cryptic took over Nosferatu, Brught's son, and left the herd in the hooves of Temor. But Temor knew that he could not allow Cryptic back to the herd. Sickness and deformities had begun in these years, making the foals unable to be born and the herd was thinning. Temor declared war on Cryptic and the Whisper Herd.
The Whisper Herd is a herd of escapees from the Dark Herd. They live together in the canyon of Whispering Woods. Always eager to take in new herd members, they are ruled by a grey stallion named Rumor. It was said that Parlos had founded this herd when he lived with Fury in this place of ultimate peace. But the Dark Herd always lingered over them and there was no escape until a black stallion named Thorn was born to them. The Dark Herd tended to breed dark horses, blacks and bays. But the Whisper Herd always had lighter colors, but odder things had happened. Thorn was sent as a double agent to the Dark Herd when he was a yearling. Temor accepted him as did Cryptic and Thorn now became a triple agent in this war. A critical part of this plot, Thorn let his heart be taken by a Dark Herd mare named Maiden. When sent by Temor to steal the cremello daughter of Delourian, he could not complete the act by killing the filly. Instead, he handed her to Maiden as a gift of his love. But even now, they knew that they had to get away from their respected herds. Rumor and his warriours were in an uprising against Temor and his sickly warriours and Cryptic was gathering warriours to take out Temor and the Dark Herd.
