Name:Sol
Age:ten
gender: stallion
colour:red chestnut
eye colour: brown
breed: wild horse
markings: none
celestial element: the sun
terrestrial element: rocks
history:
Sol was just the lead stallion of the most agressive, unintelligent herd in a land far far away. He was born into stupidity, raised into stupidity, and became stupidity.
Most of Sol's days consist of breaking something, or some one. When he was five, he killed his father to take over his herd. It was herd tradition.
The next five years of his life involved senseless destruction, forcebreeding, and the death of any foals that seemed too weak to live up to the herd's name. Yes, Any foal that was not going to be the mirror image of Sol was killed. By him.
Sol's life, according, to Sol, was good. Until he turned eight. His first foal challenged him, and won. Sol had no choice but to leave the lands in disgust for two reasons. the first was that his son had beaten him, the second was that his son hadn't killed ihm.
Sol has travelled from land to land. In his mind, he is power. He is strong and he is "god". Most would see Sol as an exceptionally evil horse. If it moves, it can die. Sol likes to feel the power that he has by killing others. It is just what he does. It was what his father did. And it is what his sons all do.
But, in truth, He is just a ridiculously stupid horse that hasn't been taught any different.
Out of character, back into "pony mode", notes from pony:
Sol was one of the original Land of the Heavens horses, but I am yet to work out wether he has a plot, or wether he just exists as Sol. Whilst his history may seem too short and simple for my typical history style, (if you are confused, go and look at the length of the history for the rest of my characters) Sol is a simple being. And I mean really, really simple. It may seem a bit much, but I felt that a history like this would reflect it. It is probably worth pointing out that whenever Tiger, Luna, Mercury, Komo, Phebe or Nal makes comment to a ridiculously stupid and warlike clan, they are reffering to Sol's old herd. They fight simply because they were taught to by their parents, and their parents were taught by their own parents. And each generation was too stupid to consider that it might be a bad thing. I guess that's the results of inbreeding for you.
Two other note-worthy comments, perhaps. Nal, my beloved over exciteable ball of fluff, was exiled because he tried to kill a colt. That colt was the same colt that defeated Sol. It really is a shame that Nal didn't get that colt thrown over the cliff edge when he tried.
And finally. Swede's Solbrinn. The phsycopathic, manic, and dangerous part, at least, is a typical Sun horse. Which figures, since it was the herd that she was brought up in.
