Arzosah Malachi, the sporthorse stallion that legends were made of. He stands over 16 hands high with a regal air. His long mane and tail are always braided to perfection and his coat regally groomed. Mali was a stallion for the times. His rich coloring and unique markings made him stand out, but his jumping ability was said to only rival one other stallion, Essence of Gold. Yes, he had competed against King in those days. His jumping ability near the same as the Vanner stallion, if not better at times. His long flowing legs were able to take better strides to jump higher fences. Long after the King was retired and sent to stud, Mali was still jumping. But a sudden injury would take the champion out of the game. A torn ligament was the result of an unkind rider. Pushed beyond his limits, the stallion could not rise to the occasion and had to retire to stud. But what a retirement it was. Servicing mares all day long and letting adoring fans pet him. Life was good now.
But times were getting harder and his owners had heard about what King's owners did. Turn him out into the wild to retire at will. It did not sound befitting a champion, but he was tough and he would survive. When his leg was healed nicely, his owners proceeded to turn him into the wild, complete with a huge ceremony. There was a band and plenty of his fans, along with plenty of mares to service before leaving. He was still living the good life. So he took his leave after all was done and entered the wild. Sure he had tough times at first, like any pampered pet, but he quickly learned what horses were supposed to be. He rose to the occasion like any champion and ran to where he wanted. To earn a herd and to live like a King. The desire to win was still in his blood and the desire to be the best still lingered. He hit the ground running when he was born and he would not die until he at least lived his life running. He would be wild and free for the last of his days and he would someday have a son to carry out his name.
