History-Silvertongue. His birth name was almost forgotten, even by himself, due to his famous nickname. Or for some, infamous. Others doubted that he even existed, just an old story told to the fillies to scare them. But eventually every herd believed because they themselves had been robbed by the smooth-talking thief.

Shadow had an ideal youth. A loving mother. A proud father. He had been the crush of every filly. After all, what wasn't to love? First off, he was ro be his father's heir tothe herd. Second, he owned the most dazzling silver coat. And third, he could beat any horse in a fight, even if they were twice as old or big as him.

At four, Shadow's world fell apart. His father went back on his word and gave the herd to shadow's younger brother. After his brother was killed by a bear, the herd still wasn't passed to him. Then his lif-long crush who loved him back as well,or so he thought, was stolen away by a rogue. Enraged, Shadow lashed out at his aging father, giving him a limp he still carries. Leaving his father unforgiven, he stole off in the night with three other mares to start his own bigger and better herd. After breeding them and leaving them in a mountain valley, he stalked the local herds, sweet-talking any mare he could find into coming into his herd. This gave him the nickname Silvertongue. After building an impressive herd, an earthquake claimed all his mares. Unable to control the emotional rollercoaster inside himself, he ran endlessly for miles until he could run no more. Finding himself in a new land with an unknown name to him, he wandered the woods, dazed and confused, until he stumbled upon Caprikara. Pouring his heart out to an absolut stranger was the best thing he could have ever done. He realized she was the only one he could ever trust. Now starting over with Caprikara, Shadow looks forward to the arrival of his new son or daughter and hopes to erase his questionable past, but will the lone survivor of the long-forgotten earthquake come back to haunt him and tear his new family apart?

Shadow is the lead of a small herd in Misty Falls. Caprikara is his lead . . . for now. Delourian, Bandit, and Sunkiss, along with Dust Relic and Prince also are living there.
