History:
Vanker was born into a herd of Mustangs, mainly female. There were a few lone stallions and mares, mainly those that were originally domesticated creatures that had escaped the confines of humans. His father was an escaped Friesian, making all of the foals somewhat bigger than their mothers.
His coat wasn't what kept him apart from the other horses; dark colors were natural in a herd. No, it was his attitude, his personality. He never once tried to play fight with the other colts, never played around with others his age. He was too shy, always sticking close to his mother, running to her whinnying fearfully if the wind blew a different way.
He wasn't born a leader, no. He was born a follower. When it came time for many of the colts to leave because they were starting to try to take over the herd from the lead stallion, Vanker was allowed to stay. He was calm, and never tried to breed the other mares in the herd, always staying with his mother. His mother aged, giving birth again to twin fillies when Vanker was 3. It was the last time she would give birth. His mother died three winters later in a wolf attack.
The twins grew to be lovely young mares, and the father, Vanker's father, recognized many of the looks they were getting from colts they had grown up with that were now young stallions, hormones raging. Lea would always be courted, but their father wouldn't allow any of his sons nor any other stallion to court them. Neither would Vanker. Vanker would watch his younger sisters, watching very closely when they were around other males. He had to chase a few young stallions off quite a few times, after trying to court his sisters. Kilii would follow Vanker or Leah around. She was soft spoken and wise, watching her surroundings. When she walked, it was gracefully and light.
Vanker was finally taking interest in other females, females from other herds, but never went off with them. He felt it his duty to stay in the herd and watch over his younger sisters. He was very protective of them, and couldn't leave them. The lead stallion, his father, finally tried kicking Vanker out of the herd, to go make a herd of his own. Vanker wouldn't leave without his sisters, and his sisters would go wherever Vanker went. The lead finally agreed to let them all go.
Vanker never formed a herd, although he could have if he wanted. He was suave and most persuasive with other females they had met. He'd bred a few, but wouldn't let any stallion touch his little sisters. Because of this, he had quite a few scars. He had learned to fight well and be more outgoing now that is was only himself and sisters. He's looking now for a herd that will take both himself and his younger sisters, because he realizes that if he died in a fight with another stallion, his sisters would be left to fend for themselves.
Name: Leah
Age: 8
Breed: Mustang/Friesian
Height: 15.1 hh
Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Brown
Gender: Female
Markings: slight feathering
History: Look @ Vankers, it's intertwined
Lea is more outgoing than Kilii, and she has more of a lead mare quality about her, but she tends to scare others off because she is so bold, it sometimes borders on being rude. She doesn't mean to be, it is just her nature.
Name: Kilii (pronounced Kylee)
Age: 8
Breed: Mustang/Friesian
Height: 15.2 hh
Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Brown
Gender: Female
Markings: Stockings on all legs, slight feathering.
History: Look @ Vankers
Kilii is, like said above, less outgoing, timid. She is soft spoken and wise. She is almost the complete opposite of her twin, but they can both be outgoing if the need arises. She prefers to think things out before speaking, whereas her sister doesnt actually think before speaking.
