History-
Abuse. Cruelty. Anguish. Torment. Misery.......the life of a prisoner of war. Clypsis knew not the meaning of happiness. Her life for as far as she tries to remember is a life of slavery. She remembers not the days of her youth, but measures her past from the day it happened. It was raining. The mud seemed to suck you down with its slimy claws. She was lost in the middle of the fight. Horses were lying everywhere, their blood draining into the river. So much death had occurred that the river was a bright crimson. She remembered a bolt of lightning and suddenly looking up to the face of her soon-to-be master. She was just 3 at the time and he took advantage of her weakness and raped her. He then assigned two stallions from the several that belonged to his enormous herd to guard her. He had taken a fancy to her.
Clypsis was wrenched away from her home with several other young colts and fillies. Colts to fight for him and fillies to entertain him and his stallions. At night it was gut-wrenching to hear the pitiful screams coming from the fillies in the forest during the darkness of the night. So bad it gave her nightmares. But not to worry, she had little sleep for she was among those fillies. She was a toy for the stallions,a slave to the older warrior mares and a practice dummy for the colts.
But on their way to a new land to conquer, Clypsis escaped. True, she was followed for she was the masters special toy, but she ran with what little strength was in her and reached a forsaken land. She wandered with her fourth foal trying to find a land far from her accursed herd. Her young daughter died on the way though. The day before she found the new land. This land was far from,... them but could she start her life again? Could she become like the other horses in the region? But the evil of the herd crept into her heart, never to be fully put out. Always burning, never failing to reveal itself at the most unexpected times.[/center]
