Name: Private Waterfall
Age: 9 years
Breed: Paint
Height: 15.2 hh
Colour: Palomino pinto
Eye Colour: Blue
Gender: Mare
Markings: a blue ring around her left eye and a US military brand on her hind.
History:
She was born wild in this land next to a private waterfall so thats where she adopted her name from, she lived in a herd consisting of 10 mares 5 foals and 1 brave pair of leaders (her parents) but her herd fled when cowboys found this blissful place and started to round up all the horses here. They moved up north into a valley where humans didn't dare round them up, it was protected land owned by a successful businessman that was never home.
They lived there for many years but then disaster struck. The businessman died leaving his country home to his son, whom loved horses, he went out for a country ride when he spotted them. The next day she woke up most of her herd had disappeared only foals and her parents were left, they fled once more but he found them, luckily she was the fastest filly in the herd and outran him. She didn't know what happened to her parents but she heard the screams of them and they haunt her dreams every night.
Her parents wanted her to stay free and everyone helped them raise her so she could never be broken, she was then captured on a dirt track, she had collapsed of thirst & hunger, some native Indians took her in and healed her to full form where she was reunited with her parents. She was set free but her parents stayed with them. On her way back home to Sunshine River she was captured by the US military. They tried to break her and nearly did but she threw the captain off out of his saddle, by holding onto his bridle and ripping it out of his hands then undoing her saddle, he had nothing to hold onto except her clipped short mane, she flicked him high into the air breaking the corral, she was nearly shot but luckily got away once more by biting the mens hands that held her.
She shot off like lightning, running and galloping on home, with only few stops to drink and graze but she did not sleep until she found her birth place once again. Now she has returned but have the US military and Indians followed her here?
