History: Soyala was born not far from Sunshine River. She was a late bloomer, born in the dead of winter. Most thought that she wouldn't survive because of this, since most foals born in winter did not survive for very long. She proved them wrong. When she was a foal, she tended to wander far from the herd, always being scolded by the older members of it. One member said "She's a dreamer, that one. Always lost in her own world.", and they were quite correct. Soyala would wander looking for adventure and things that would match up to her idealistic nature. She tended to look at the positive side of things, and rarely let anything keep her down. The winter she turned three, her herd moved through Sunshine River, looking for a place that would provide better protection against the elements. Soyala liked the area, and decided to stay, even against the wishes of her parents. They knew that this would happen eventually, and that there was really nothing that they could do to stop her. Her brother was going to stay with her, but he chose not to, claiming that she was stupid for doing so in the first place. He told her that a horse without a herd, especially a mare, would be done for. She didn't believe him, and she is glad that she didn't. This place matches up with her ideals, and she plans to stay for a while.
