(Okay because Comanche got taken from me and then i readopted him, I am going to start all over. He has no mares and no one has heard of him if that is alright with everyone.) Comanche galloped into Sunshine River. This place smelled of mares and stallions and he really needed to find other horses. He shivered but quickly cantered through the snow. His black and white coat sort of blended in but then stuck out again in the snow. He sniffed the air and pricked his ears in search of a mare that might need a herd.

Elodie watched as a black and white horse came in her direction. She couldn't tell whether or not it was a stallion or a mare. She lifted her muzzle up in the air and used her auds to smell this strange new horse. 'Stallion. Hmm. I've never seen him before....he must be new around these parts.' Elodie thought to herself. She couldn't tell if this stallion saw her or not. Perhaps not, since he hadn't done anything that indicated he had seen her. Elodie's chestnut body was thick with her winter coat, but shone golden in the sunlight. The sun shone off of the snow, making it hurt to look at it for long. Elodie herself had arrived in this strange place only a week before, coming from her homeland in Canada. She knew there were horses here, but had not seen any as of yet, and this stallion was the first she had seen of her kind so far. She had been lonely now for a long time. She had been kicked out of or willingly left many horse herds because she was originally a domestic horse, and the enemies she made would have killed her because she did not know how to fight like a mustang could. After all, she was born in a stall of one of the most renowned Canadian Horse breeders in Canada, not in the wild. She wanted a friend. She had never had a mate, either, even though she was five years of age. So, she decided, 'I shall go and see if this male wants to be my friend.' She took a few tentative steps towards the stallion, and whinnied at him, before calling out, "Sir? Hello? Sir?" She started loping over to him, stopping fifteen feet away. "Hello, my name is Elodie. Are you new around these parts?"

Comanche turned his brown eyes on the mare who had just called to him. "Why yes I am. My name is Comanche. " He said gently with a smile towards her. He took a few easy steps forward then stopped and waited for her to move closer. His black and white mane and tail blew gently behind him in the cool crisp winter breeze. He tossed his mane away from his eyes and studied the new mare closely.

The stallion. turned his head towards Elodie. He informed her that yes, he was indeed new around these parts. He also said that his name was Comanche. Elodie moved closer until she was 1 foot away. Her chestnut hair had sprinklings of snow on it. The breeze was blowing lightly, making her mane fly into the air. This stallion, Comanche, seemed nice. She asked, "Where did you come from? Are you all alone, or do you have a herd somewhere?" She awaited his reply, hoping he didn't find that she was intruding or anything. She was just a curious animal, which sometimes got her into trouble. Her breath came out in white puffs, dissapearing in the frigid air almost immediately.
