ooc: since Rosemont has been put up for adoption and won't know anything about us once he's adopted, let's say he and Diamond and Light just disappeard, or left, or something. So TP, PW, Faradera, and L'eau are on their own. I'll pick up from the other thread where L'eau was getting introduced.
Faradera smiled and nuzzled little L'eau gently. She was so sweet and innocent, lost without a mother. Wrong there. She has a mother now; me. She nodded to Tulip and Waterfall, and said, "I haven't seen you two much lately. Especially you, Private Waterfall." She frowned. "Come to think of it, I haven't seen Light or Rosemont or Diamond either. Have you seen them anywhere? It's as though they've disappeared. Last I saw Rosemont, he was off to fight some stallion, and Light and Iced Diamond I haven't seen since who knows when..."

King strode into the terra, his black mane and tail rippling like ebon flames. A gentle snort rippled his nostrils as he spotted the mares. He kindly nickered to them, tossing his wild head. His tail lashed slowly behind him as he watched them...were they indeed looking for a herd now? How can this be? He noticed that Rosemont had vanished...but would he leave his mares alone now? Of course he would welcome any mare into his herd with open hooves. "Good day, Lady Mares...and young foal. How does the day please you?" His voice was deep and kind.

Faradera nodded. "The day pleases me well enough, I should think. Both positives and negatives. I found little L'eau here, but Rosemont seems to have vanished. It's King, am I correct?" She remembered meeting him once before, when she had been in a state of mental breakdown. He had been comforting, kind, but she had been too distracted to really remember his name. She nuzzled L'eau gently. How tiny the filly was! But Faradera would defend her with her own life, if need be. If Rosemont really was gone, she would most likely have to find a new home, with or without Waterfall and Tulip. But she would always be with L'eau- any stallion who threatened her would have to answer to Faradera's full wrath, which was considerable when aroused.

His large muzzle went down to look at the tiny foal, a soft snort rippling through his nostrils softly. "What a lovely foal you have Faradera...Such a little one though...Do you have a place to stay where the tiny one is protected?" He raised his head slowly, looking at her with his dark eyes. He shook his thick mane, a thin cloud of insects raising from him as he watched one of Rosemont's mares. It was too bad that he had vanished and left some wonderful mares...and what would happen to this dear sweet foal?

Faradera nodded. "She was lost and alone. I took her in. Even if Rosemont is gone, and his territory is claimed by someone else, it doesn't really matter. I can get by fine, and as long as I'm close by L'eau is perfectly safe. Nothing will hurt her while I'm around." She eyes glowed fiercely as she spoke. If anyone, cougar, wolf, stallion, attacked the filly, they would pay. Faradera would make sure of it. Nothing was getting past her, not while there was a single breath left in her body, and she could fight like the devil if provoked. She turned to lick L'eau's cheek, deep eyes softening tenderly.

Tulip Pegasus was heartbroken and tearful. Not again. This couldn't be happening again. She'd had a good home, away from the herd that had once scorned and hated her. She was pregnant with Rosemont's foal. And then, he and Iced Diamond and their daughter disappeared. just disappeared. It was unbelievable, to her. She had thought he was a good stallion, dependable, reliable. Reliable to disappear, more like, she thought bitterly to herself, standing away from where Faradera was talking with the new lead stallion. She wasn't sure how she felt about this stallion... she wasn't sure about where she wanted to go now.
She remembered White Meadows, and the endless creamy skies that matched her own shining coat, and yet, she couldn't help but like Rainbow Ridge better. Although she had been leaning towards White Meadows when they had first moved here, she now regarded this as her home and wasn't exactly willing to make another change.
"Perhaps I should..." the poor, distraught mare murmured to herself, shooting a wary glance at the stallion. She knew not of his name or of his herd, but Faradera seemed to trust him enough.

Faradera shook her head. This was a lot to handle, even for her, who was used to big upsets. Glancing backwards, she noticed Tulip, who appeared distraught. Poor mare... Faradera, at least, had years of experience in dealing with tragedy and new settings, but Tulip was much younger. She was too kind and sensitive for this to happen to her. The black mare took a few steps in her direction, and nudged her muzzle gently. "Hey, it'll be alright, you'll see. No one's going to abandon you, I promise. We'll find a way, I won't leave," she said softly, in an attempt to cheer her up. As long as anyone was upset and alone, Faradera would stay with them. Even if they were split up to different herds, she would make sure evryone was safe.

L'eau looked at the big stallion. "Hello sir. I am L'eau. Your name is King?" L'eau looked over at Tulip Pegasus. She looked sad. She would go cheer her up. "Excuss me please." L'eau trotted over to Tulip Pegasus in her foal like manner. She looked really sad. L'eau nuzzled her leg lovingly. She spoke in a small foal like voice. "Are you okay? You look sad. Can I help you feel better?" L'eau nuzzled Tulip Pegasus even more lovingly than before. Hopefully she could help Tulip feel better. She licked Tulip's leg and then nuzzled it again. She went infront of Tulip Pegasus and made a funny face, they cheered her up.

King looked towards the two mares and the foal, a gentle and kind expression on his face. These were such sweet mares and they did deserve a nice home to live in, "You are all welcome to join my herd if you wish. I have more than enough room and a lone stallion for extra protection in case of other stallions." His voice although deep, was very kind and hopeful that they would accept his grateful position as a lead stallion to them. His head lowered to the small foal, blowing gently through his nostrils, he was a cute thing and one that would keep Raidho in place and feeling younger since he was starting to settle down as a stallion now.

Rosemont moved in with Cody and Peligrosas behind him. As he looked memories flooded back in, he screamed in agony, his vains popped out and his muscles grew tense. The day he rescued Faradera and the day he romanced Tulip. At the sight of King trying to gather his mares he got angry. Peligrosas could obviously tell as could Cody. A murmer escaped his maw to his unique mares, Faradera and a little foal, obvious to him she had taken her in. He reared up high and galloped up behind Tulip giving her a gentle sweet nuzzle. The he moved to Faraderas side in which he brushed his muscular body against lovingly. All of a sudden he moved infront giving an unfriendly nicker to Cody & Peligrosas, it was clear he wasn't happy with King being around.
"Meet my sworn protectors, Cody and I'm sure you have met Peligrosas before ?!" he said with a smirk. Turning his head to point out each stallion. Then he turned his back on King to Faradera, "Who's the little foal ??" he asked as he took in the little ones scent. Such a cute thing she was and hyperactive like Light, they would get on !! He noticed that Peligrosas was giving little unpleasent and unfriendly looks at King so he snapped at him with a bite at the air in his direction. He started to move toward King in a rather upfront, sweaty, angry manner that he had only ever given to wolves and stallions that attacked him. Well at least he was doing it to his face in a sly manner.
"Tulip, are you OK my dear ??" he asked tenderly. His expression sharply changed as more memories flooded back in ruthlessly. Another scream erupted from his maw as did his front hooves fling into the air in a powerful rear. Angry, pain, upset, strong. A very deadly mix as a rival !! Rosemont could admit to being rather studdish but he could really get away with it, look at his breeding. His thoughts raced back to Diamond and Light, were they OK ?? What were they up to ?? would they be OK with him doing what he is doing ?? All he knew was that they would be proud of him no matter what.

ooc: I felt like this would be a good time for L'eau to post
L'eau's eyes grew wide at the sight of the new stallions that had arrived. So big and loud. L'eau heard the scream of the stallion and her fright took over. She turned and ran as fast as she could away from the stallion. She let out a terrified whinny as she ran away. She kept running until she knew she was safely out of sight and would not be smelled by the other horses. She would only come out when she felt that it was safe. Is this new stallion going to hurt King? I hope he doesn't. If he hurts King then I will never go with the mean stallion. At least King had been nice. This new stallion acted like he knew everyone. L'eau kept completly still and quiet as she lie in the underbrush safely out of site. Her scent was covered by the scent of the underbrush. She hoped that the stallion wouldn't hurt Faradera. If he tried to hurt King, Tulip Pegasus, or Faradera then she would hurt the stallion bad. She would bite him as hard as she could. She would risk her life to save her new family, even if she is only a foal.

[OOC: Does TPH still own Rosemont or not? I am -way- confused O.o]
Her head was pounding and reeling hard, and she felt alarmingly dizzy. She couldn't believe it. Of course, she wasn't sure if she would've been ready to accept King's offer, to come into a different herd so soon... after all, having been cast out of two herds already, she'd had quite enough. Or so she thought.
But the moment she saw Rosemont again, Tulip Pegasus wasn't sure how she felt. However, there was one very definite emotion.
"You!" she shrieked angrily, stepping forward, her normally gentle eyes blazing. "You left us, all of us, deserted us and cast your mares aside! I knew you were no good! A pretty face and fancy words, that's all you truly were, I can't believe I was foolish enough to... to trust you! You leave us, leave us all panicked and terrified and carrying your foals, and you leave us and then you come back and try to romance us! Mares are not silly little possessions or trophies, they are not as you treat them!" She felt ready to rant more, but all of a sudden, it was as if all her previous energy was gone. All she could do was fall silent.

Faradera flinched at his touch. She wasn't sure how she felt. Yes, he had saved her life once, and she carried his foal, but then he ahd left, and they had been abandoned and homeless. Coldly, she said, "The little foal would be L'eau. She is mine." If Rosemont laid a hoof on her, Faradera would kill him and that was that. Some stallions attacked those not of their bloodline, and truth be told she really knew very little about her former stallion. "And I would appreciate you not to be quite so rude to King," she added. "He has done us no harm, and has in fact done a lot more good than you have these past times."
She had confused first, but now she was feeling somewhat angry. Tulip's reaction mirrored her own, and she was distrustful of these other stallions. Young bachelors, and the infamous rogue. Glancing from Rosemont to Peligrosas, she said quietly, "I thought you were above wandering with such filth. A killer, nothing good at all. Why? Do you admire his evil deeds? Or can you not protect your herd on your own? Sworn protectors, this is rubbish. If a stallion cannot protect himself and his herd, then he is no true stallion, but a lost little colt. And I do not follow lost little colts, do not bear their foals." She felt betrayed, hurt and betrayed. Rosemont had left; then, when he bothered to come back, it was in the company of a foal-killer and some stranger; then, he acted as though King was a threat and as though Faradera and Tulip should immediately accept him and forget King's kindness and Rosemont's hiatus.
She threw up her head in alarm as L'eau took off. She whinnied, frightened, and bolted in the filly's direction. But she lost her scent quickly, and slowed to a trot, scanning the land desperately. "L'eau, come back, L'eau. You're safe, don't worry, I'll watch over you. Come here, dear!" A trembling call quivered from her nostrils, and she stood still, shaking. What if the filly got lost, or hurt? She was probably safer by Faradera's side than on her own. So little, so young, hardly more than a newborn. She called again, searching. She had heard of Peligrosas, heard he was a foal killer. Well, if he found her alone, who knew what he would do? Faradera had to find her, she could not bear losing another foal.

Rosemont snapped at Peligrosas for his glances, WHAT MORE COULD HE DO?! Their threats touched him somewhat. As Faradera left after the little L'eau he sent Cody to try and calm both of them. "I am sorry for leaving you. Diamond got spooked and ran so too did Light follow...I chased them into a mountain packed with wolves, they attacked us .... and well i don't remember anything else ?! Only that my past herd caught us and nursed us back to health. My screams are of pain. I can protect my herd, i had to protect Light against a pack of wolves and a bunch of bachelors !! My sworn protectors being Cody, the noble, and Peligrosas, the dark angel, Cody being a lone residing with me & Peligrosas an old friend. Diamond and Light misses all of yous !! As do i !! I do not treat you as trophies, you are the mother to my unborn foal, thats how i treat you...You can trust me !!!! I love you and Faradera and miss you terribly !!!!!" he said simply to Tulip. As he nudged her gently, without rage or anger, but one of sorrow and equality. Tears filling his now diluted blue optics.
He watched as Peligrosas gave a daring look to King. All he wanted to do was fight. All Cody wanted to do was help him and belong to a herd. A call sounded from his trumpet to Diamond and Light knowing that they would come immediatly. hold on to me love you know i can't stay long all i wanted to say was i love you and i'm not afraid can you hear me? can you feel me in your arms?
holding my last breath safe inside myself are all my thoughts of you sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
i'll miss the winter a world of fragile things look for me in the white forest hiding in a hollow tree (come find me) i know you hear me i can taste it in your tears
holding my last breath safe inside myself are all my thoughts of you sweet raptured light it ends here tonight
closing your eyes to disappear you pray your dreams will leave you here but still you wake and know the truth no one's there
say goodnight don't be afraid calling me calling me as you fade to black. A sweet song residing in his call, in his tone, in his appearance, in his heart....in his actions. He had to leave Faradera alone to calm down so he stayed with Tulip Pegasus. Dragging his muzzle along her back lovingly with playful nips here and there. "Forgive me, my sweet, Tulip Pegasus...I never knew of the pain i caused to you all....it was unintensional...I swear !!" he said. A tear dropping to the ground.

Cody bowed gracefully each time Rosemont mentioned his name. Then he was sent on another call of duty. He could not believe that these mares could get away with speaking to him like that! When a mare stood up to her stallion or any stallion a can of whoop ass was sure to be opened up on them...but he had to do as his King asked. Immediatly he followed Faradera. "Lady mare, you should not be too hard on him. I understand you are angry but so too is he. Please ma'am, let me help you find the young one. Perhaps we can talk on the hunt? One is told that thy is a good listener..." he looked at the mare. She bared scares physically visible and then the mentally invisable ones that he would not quiry about unless of course she spoke about them. "You should listen to his cry! Tears fell from his eyes. What he said was true! He understands your angry that in turn is why he sent me to look out for you....he truely loves you!" he said with huge brown eyes looking into hers. She embraces with a smile As she opens the door A cold wind blows It puts a chill into her heart
You have taken away the trust You're the ghost haunting through her heart Past and present are one in her head You're the ghost haunting through her heart
Take my hand as I wonder through All of my life I gave to you Take my hand as I wonder through All of my love I gave to you.

L'eau came out of the underbrush when she saw Faradera.. She started to run near her. "Faradera!" L'eau stopped in her tracks when she saw the stallion. "Stallion!!" L'eau turned quickly and ran in the opposite direction. She Ranna until she reached a spot far away. She hid in the underbrush. This time she wouldn't come out until she was sure it was only Faradera, Tulip Pegasus, or King, someone she could trust. She hid in the underbrush completely silent and still. She would not move or make a sound until it was one of them.

Ears stand half mast, nostrils tight and pinched. The King was upset and it showed clearly in the way that he drew himself up to his full height. Summer and Spring had been kind to the stallion, his weight had remained the same. A massive body atop sturdy and strong legs. Eyes fell on the foolish colt. He had left his herd in the dust and now said that because his lead spooked and ran, he did too? How foolish of him to run like a puppy at the first sigh of trouble. A hoof stamps, the ground quivering under the massive weight. Tail lashes with fury. He would not stand for the colt taking what was now his to bring into his land. The sweet mare, Faradera and her wonderful filly. The lovely mare Tulip Pegasus. They both were lovely mares and were confused when their precious lead colt left them for a nervous filly. Too bad King was in his prime and ready to lead a land. No words could even grace the colt and his would be protectors. The other stallions were nothing to him, they were mere ornaments. Peligrosas had his own herd and did not need to be bothering with a now lone colt and the other stallion was just like Cryptic...unless that is what they had planned. Bringing Cryptic's reign back and using a mere colt to bother with it. If that was the case, then King could possibly con Dante into becoming another lone stallion to deal with this tiny matter. He reacted quickly when L'eau took off, pausing to nuzzle Faradera, "Come." He spoke quickly to her, eager to be after the tiny filly that ran away. He would not loose a foal to that stupid rogue, not if he could do anything about it. A call flew from his nostrils, a warning. Stay away from his mares, his foals, or he would deal with matters personally. Muscles gathered and bunched as he pushed Faradera gently in the direction of the runaway, a call now flowing to L'eau to call to her, to come back to her King.

ooc: we need a posting order, too many people to keep track of. 1. Faradera 2. L'eau 3. Cody 4. Rosemont 5. Tulip Pegasus 6. Peligrosas 7. King let me know if I missed anyone. bic: Faradera rounded on the stallion sharply. "It's Cody, isn't it? Well, let me tell you something, my dear Cody. Why, pray tell, would Rosemont need to send you to look out for me? I might not have been wild very long, but I've been alone here before, and I'm not weak as a newborn. The same strength that made me a worthwhile eventer can be used to fend off danger, too. And as for finding L'eau, you are frightening her. At this rate, I'll never find her. So I suggest you let Rosemont deal with his own problems, and me with mine, instead of trying to patch things up for everyone." Her voice was venomous- she was in a towering mood. Turning away, she motioned to King and set off running in the direction L'eau had vanished. As she loped, furious and sad thoughts coursed through her mind... He leaves. Then he comes back, AFTER we've been set homeless and herdless. It's bad enough that he asks forgiveness after this ordeal. But still, I might find it in my heart to forgive him. Except...
He acts like an idiot to King, who was the only one who tried to help us. Not only that, he comes with his "protectors". If a stallion needs protectors to help him take care of himself and his herd, I don't feel safe with him. And that's not the end of it. One of them has to run around and try to fix everyone else's problems. I suppose Rosemont is too busy being protected to come and tell me he loves me himself, or help find L'eau. No, he has to send a total stranger who is completely full of it and acts like he knows everything that's going on, which of course he doesn't.
And the other protector? A killer- of stallions, mares, and foals alike. If the likes of him are helping Rosemont, I have good reason to fear for every step I take, every time L'eau is out of sight, as long as I live here. While these bitter thoughts strangled her mind, other ones came as well... Perhaps, another chance. But does he deserve it? Of course he does. Or not... whatever happens, I refuse to associate with murderers and stallions who cannot protect themselves.
I was given many chances... it seems I have failed all of them... are second chances really worth it? Or do they cause more pain, more heartbreak? She shook her head, clearing her mind of all thought. All that mattered was L'eau right now. The rest could be dealt with later. The sun just slipped its note below my door And I can't hide beneath my sheets I've read the words before so now I know The time has come again for me
And I'm feelin the same way all over again Feelin the same way all over again Singin the same lines all over again No matter how much I can take....
Another day that I can't find my head My feet don't look like they're my own Ill try and find the floor below to stand And I hope I reach it once again
And I'm feelin the same way...

L'eau looked out through the bushes. She saw Faradera, and she was alone. She slowly crept out of the bushes. Her little heart was still beating so fast. "Faradera! No stallions this time? So.. big! I love you You won't let them hurt me will you?" L'eau nuzzled Faradera lovingly. She hid behind her legs. She felt safe whenever she was around Faradera. She nuzzled her leg again. She stood there eyeing the stallions wearily.

Cody stood in his spot but put his hoof out at the sight of King creeping up behind him. As if to say leave them be. Whether King would listen was another story. "Hey, don't shoot the messenger. Ever think of letting him in, he did do one thing wrong but he has taken care of you, lady mare, more than once if his statements serve me well." he said suprisinly calmly. He stood firm in his place away from Faradera and the little foal. In his eyes King was not the problem, but rather the nervous filly and unforgiving mare. They could always start again, but Rosemont wanted his love's back, he could never see the big deal but in Tulip he understood.
Slowly he moved toward the little filly, nuzzled her lightly as a smile grew on his face. "She is beautiful, sweet and nothing like you in any way. Only in the way that she is scared and nervous." he said looking in her eyes then into the fillies with a smile. He could not help but think if she was a worthy mother to Rosemonts foal. Soon he had dismissed the thought.

OOC: Soory about posting out of turn, but I couldn't resist.
L'eau spat in the stallions face and gave him a hard bite right on his nose. She dug her teeth in as deep as she could. She thought she tasted blood so she stopped. "Leave me alone!" L'eau knew this was a brave move for such a tiny foal, but she despised this stallion and that Rosemont stallion. She would not go with them ever. She would go with King though because he was nice to her. She ran up to King and nuzzled him gently before she went over to Faradera again. She would protect her mother with her life even though she was a young pony filly. She said with hate to Cody. "Leave me and everyone else alone and leave." L'eau spit at Cody to tell him he was not welcome here.

ooc:sorry guys, this post will probably mess up the order but I'm real bored
A normally lean palomino wobbled into the territory. Her blue eyes flickered in the daylight like gleaming gemstones. The summer had been gratious to her, granting the mare a home, a mate and hopefully, a foal. Velvet sidled up to King, making sure he was O.K. The King had been under pressure since the return of the "colt" called Rosemont. She stood there, hardly believing her eyes. Before the Queen stood the Dark Angel, Messenger and the Colt. What arethe doing here? I thought they were gone.... better not upset them...
Velvet hoped for the Ridge's peace and quiet that the stallions would leave, not everyone was to happy about them being here...

ooc: OK moii has a few problems with that post =_= 1) Rosemont said nothing about Faradera being a bad mother [[that was Cody & in fact he thought it...does your mare have mind-reading powers or something ?!]] 2) That did mess up the order 3) How comes you bring her into the plot so late ?! 4) Moii is just going to post as if that was not said because it makes NO sense at all !!
Iced Diamond flew into her home, fast. She was so excited to be reunited with just one of her mare friends but to see grand Faradera, the little foal and Tulip Pegasus she was estatic !! "Faradera !!" she rused over to the no longer badly scared mare nickering softly. Light had already met L'eau and taken a liking to the cute little filly so she had ran to her rather than Faradera or Tulip. How could she have gotten spooked by the fall of an evil stallion, she looked rather sarcasticly as she rolled her large blue optics. Instantly at the sight of King she had to hold back poison from flowing from her maw, letting the little ones hear would be a crime, she wanted so bad to let him hear what she had to say !!
Rosemont grew a rather large smile on his maw as his optics watched his love, Iced Diamond, rush toward Faradera and hold back something truely poisoning to say to King. At hearing his name being said he dashed over to Faradera saying few words, "If I really did not love you and no longer want you in my herd or even perpously leave you... do you honestly think I would come back and fight for you to the death ?! Think about it !!" swiftly he turned to Tulip and stood next to her nipping playfully, gently, lovingly, tenderly at her sides her neck and along her back. Obviously they were mad but he had to tend to his lead and only filly !!
In the distance he heard a firmiliar cry, could it be, surely not, he was destined to be a great racehorse !! The cry of his son made him extremely anxious and catious, BattleCry loved to beat his relitives in races, he always loved to beat up his brothers too, but he always wanted to be free. One question lingered in Rosemonts mind How did he escape ?? he was not going to answer his sons cry, no his was to busy and his cry was a challenge to any and all stallions !! Rosemont moved his head to Peligrosas signaling him to find his son and put him in his place if need be.
