O.K. So last night I watched "Transformers". Yes I know what you're all thinking! a) good gawd-she's finally lost it...b) how much did poor 'ole flick have to drink last night and..... c) WHAT THE H.E.L.L WAS SHE THINKING!Am I at least partially correct? Anyways, don't let me keep blabbering on. This post is supposed to be about the movie itself. I LOVED it! It was a really good action movie (guns, explosions, blood ect) Excellent computer graphics (you'd never guessed that the robots weren't real...) Awesome humor-some parts were so true! An all round good movie-had all the right bits and pieces in it. Humor, action, sadness, happiness, ect. I LOVED it! This is sad. Really sad. But I'm not a girly-girl. Far from it. So you guys will have to deal with it if you didn't like it. Sorry! But-if you haven't seen it? GET YOU'RE BUT DOWN TO THE NEAREST VIDEO STORE AND RENT IT OUT! NOW! It almost drives me to....no. *slaps herself* It wouldn't work. Not enough interest. Forget it.

I admit that it was much better than I expected it to be, though I have seen better movies since then. (My dad picked it as his Birthday movie. Men, right?) I kinda liked that it was non-stop action from the beginning, but by the time it was finished, I was shaking from anticipation and excitment.

I was expecting transformers to be pretty sad, taking an old animae (sp?) show and turning it into cgi and live action. Far better than what I expected, I must say, although it was a couple of months ago, so I am unable ot give a propper crituque of it now.
but, no flick, I would not say that you were crazy for watching it. Raving on about the harry potter movies and their amazingness? yes, then I would say you were a little troppo. maybe a lot troppo.
*shiny eyes* Pony loved stardust. Incredibly predictible, but I so love a fantasy cross feel good movie. And the golden compass was really good too, but I have read the trilogy now, and I can see two amazing movies to follow (although I still don't get the in love at 13 part)

Ok, I don't belong here. My friend doesn't even bother asking me if I've seen this-or-that movie anymore, caus she knows the answer's going to be no. So no, I have not seen Transformers, or any other film mentioned above (exception being Harry Potter- good books, pukey movies). However, last night I stayed up till midnight watching "Ten Commandments". It's as old as my mother, no joke. It was pretty good, except I was laughing the whole time at the old-fashioned acting and special effects. During commercials, I was watching snippets of "Rock Monster". Yes, swede has lost it. Swede was laughing so hard it was unbelievable.
Now, I doubt anyone here has even heard of Rock Monster. Well, it's a new release {2008} on the sci-fi channel. Need I explain more? And of course the title gives away the whole plot. I thought it was interesting how this guy could kill a 50 foot boulder man by poking it in the toe with a sword. The guy with the flamethrower was barely effective at all (though I must say, I enjoyed watching the one lady who always wanted a bigger gun. She went from pistol to rifle to bazooka to tank. Hilarious). And at the end, when they're dancing around all happy cuz they killed the rock monster, my dad just starting chanting, "We hate the monster! We hate the monster!" It was the best. Anyone who enjoys watching awful sci-fi movies ("The Blob" comes to mind) needs to see this. It is pee-your-pants funny. Even though they are all very serious, not a drop of intended humor. *giggles at memory of rock monster disintegrating with a needle-sized sword poking his toe*

*shiny eyes* Pony loved stardust. Incredibly predictible, but I so love a fantasy cross feel good movie. Stardust was excellent! That was my mom's choice for her birthday movie. I didn't even know what it was about when I went into the theater, but I was very glad that we went to it when we walked (and I'm not real into that sort of movie, so that's saying something)! :O)
