Well, I am a huge fan of good poetry, and I bet with so many wonderful RPers out there, we have to have some pretty good poets as well. I dabble some myself, though I've only ever completed one piece. I write down catchy lines and turn them into poems once the inspiration flows. But I want to see everyone else's. So post, and let me read them!

Cool! Great idea! Well, I wouldn't say it is a great poem, but I think it's O.K. It was an assignment, and it was enough to pass, so here it is.


What if God was one of us?
Would he make unwise mistakes just like we can do?
But he would still smile if he missed the 9 am bus?
Will his heart break if he let go of you?
Could he let the everyday pressure weigh him down?
Did he ever feel the pain of falling off a bike?
When it rains will he stroll though town?
Does God consider individuals and love alike?

(this is just the first verse-I will pu the rest up if others want it to be)

Wow. I never write deep stuff, I'm too shallow lol. I tend to describe things. E.g. my one finished poem is a narrative of beautiful Bryce Canyon. Keep writing.
