With the past few months far behind him the young stallion now weaved his way through the randomly dotted trees and shrub. His head raised in a proud bow, he had his nose tucked into his chest; his ears where pricked and his eyes where now bright. The only fault to his stunningly lanky bay colt was the limp with which he walked. The accident had happened a short few month ago, and was healing fine and he soon hoped he would walk carefree. He now lifted his head to the wind and let out his shrill neigh to his two sisters whom he shared this abode with.
keeping his ears pricked and heading to where he hoped they would be, he turned to look towards his new prise, a filly not far from his age he guessed whom had decided to join him at such a tender age. He was happy as could be and even happier that the gelding whom he had guessed was her father had also decided to stay within the herd and Passion Forest.
Once his limp was gone, he would start to enjoy life once more to the full, but winter would soon me fast closing in.But as the nights mist hung over the forest now, he wondered just how long it would be before the chill came into the air. Autumn was poking its head around the corner in places, leaves where turning golden and would soon turn a crisp brown and fall to the earth and then once all was bare the soft fall of glistening white flakes would begin and the hardship of winter would arrive, but till then Summer Storm would remain cheerful with his filly by his side, the old gelding and his two step sisters - wherever they may be.

Delight trotted in behind Storm, her head upright and her nostrils taking in all the scents. This was a lovely place indeed. She let out a delighted neigh as she slowed to a walk, her eyes still looking around. This was new and exciting for her. To find a young stallion that was around the same age as herself, to find that he had his own terra already, and to have her sire live with her in the same place, was everything that she could have ever hoped for in life. To come from such unsure beginnings to this settled life was something to most horses could never experience in their lives.
Rowdy paced in behind them, his movements hardly showing any of his age. His greying muzzle swung around as he scanned over the terra here. It was nice that such a young stallion had granted him living space here and great that his little filly was so happy that she had a place to stay. His mind still wondered on Misty Dawn, but perhaps he would go out and find a mare here soon for himself.
