Zaina was born in a very small herd. Three mares, two yearling colts and an aging stallion. Her father had been a strong noble stallion before the lead mare was stolen by Venom the aging stallion. Her mother Twi never showed her feelings to anyone not even Zaina. When she was born it had been a blessing and a curse for Twi she loved her daughter very much but the lust in Venom's eyes scared her.

Zaina was playful and always getting into things her mother watched her with close eyes and always called her over when Venom tried to talk to her by the time she was three Venom wanted to breed her but Zaina neither loved or wanted him.

So in the middle of Zaina and Twi left sadly the mare and her mother were split up by a storm and have been trying to find each other ever since.
